From 14-Year-Old Dreamer to D1 No-Hitter.
Apr 11, 2025
@meganncclare didn’t start pitching until she was 14 years old. Most would say that’s “late.” But what they don’t see is the heart, the work, and the resilience she’s poured in since day one.
I’ve had the privilege of working with Megan since she was a freshman in high school — and watching her growth physically, mentally, and emotionally has been nothing short of incredible.
Today, she’s dominating at the D1 level, just threw her first college no-hitter, and was named Co-Pitcher of the Week in her conference!
But it’s not just the stats or awards that make Megan special. It’s the way she gives back. Over the years, she’s mentored young pitchers inside the DR3 Fastpitch Academy, always willing to pour into the next generation with heart and humility.
She’s more than an athlete — she’s a leader, a light, and a lifelong part of my circle. And yes… I live for those random nighttime FaceTimes full of updates, laughs, and real-life check-ins.
Megan, I’m so proud of you. You’ve taken every no and turned it into fuel. You’ve stayed the course, chased your dream, and now — you’re living it.
You’re proof that it’s never too late to start, and that with grit, faith, and the right mindset — anything is possible.
Keep shining. Keep slinging. Keep inspiring
